Developed bespoke database tools for e-commerce and public sector data management.


   
    Case study The client needed a web-searchable catalogue to handle approimately 400,000 printed music product titles. Existing e-commerce tools were not economically viable for the number of products required, nor flexible enough to handle the product searches.  
    Solution and benefits

We developed a database schema and suite of routines to handle the product search and customer shopping list maintenance through to secure order taking.

The solution has been is use for 8 years generating sales from across the world.

Technologies used: Linux, APACHE webserver, mySQL database, HTML, Javascript, PHP.

Benefits of the approach included a distinctive 'look and feel' to the site and customer-focused ordering process which has earned numerous plaudits from repeat customers.
